Rio Futuro processes is a family own company which seeks to open a new horizon for the development of the fruit industry in the south of Chile.
To achieve this, we have built a first-rate processing plant through which we intend to promote the development of this industry and generate new and better opportunities for the communities and inhabitants of southern Chile.

2022
Our founder Octavio Pérez de Arce with more than 40 years of experience in the food production and processing industry, leave behind two beautifull companies selling his shares in
Caleta Bay
and
Frutos La Aguada. The decision was not easy, but the idea of facing new challenges, building new teams and helping the communities with who we work was more powerfull.
2023
In June, Río Futuro Process aqcuires the frozen fruit processing plant, strategically located in Río Bueno, south of Chile.
With more than 70.000 sqft of infrastructure and refurbished with the latest technology for frozen fruit processing, the plant is sourrounded by 75 acres of future orchards.
2023
In December, we started the 100% of the operation, receiving the first pallets with fresh berries from the different farms with who we work and processing the fruit resulting in our first IQF A products.
